Don Harley was born and raised in Raleigh, NC. He received a BA in Business Administration, along with a minor in Economics from Campbell University. First licensed in Real Estate in 1988, Don practiced Commercial Real Estate for over 19 years, in the Raleigh, Richmond, Washington and Baltimore areas before moving to Wilmington in 1995.
His first job in Wilmington was with 1st Atlantic Properties. In May of 1996, he joined Landmark Commercial to manage sales and marketing, builder relationships, property closings and general administration of numerous single family developments. During his time with Landmark Commercial, Don was successful in creating the transfer of over 250 homesites per year. In March 2000, Landmark Commercial promoted Don to manager of sales and leasing, where he completed over 45 successful commercial real estate transactions in just one year and three months. Don opened Harley & Associates for business on August 20, 2001. The office has completed on average over 50 yearly transactions in commercial real estate sales and leasing since its opening. Don has a solid track record of landlord and tenant representation in lease transactions and can handle sales and acquisitions of all types of real estate including office and retail space, industrial/flex space, land and building sites. |

Will Leonard serves as an independent broker in the firm and broker assistant to Don Harley. Will received a BA from Wake Forest University in 1999 and is currently a candidate for the CCIM designation. He specializes in the leasing of office and industrial properties in the Greater Wilmington area, but maintains extensive experience in both the sale and leasing of retail space, office facilities, investment property, and land. He is a lifelong native of Wilmington and resides in the area with his wife Michelle and son Graham. |

Dave Mattes graduated from Longwood University in Farmville, VA with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration. After completing the Turfgrass Management program at Pennsylvania State University, he spent eight years in the golf course management and construction industry. Dave moved to Wilmington, NC in 2001 and started a real estate company with his father. He joined Harley and Associates in 2006 and currently works as a tenant representative, leasing agent and buyer's agent for the company. His wife, Karen, is the Office Manager at Harley and Associates and he has a daughter, Elle, who is 8 years old and a son, Ray, who is 10 years old. He enjoys playing golf and bowling. |
